Why Strong Hands?

Hi there! My name is Leiann Walther, and I started Strong Hands Enterprises in 2012
to help people know God's Word better.
Whether you know nothing about the Bible and want some basic Bible content, or have studied the Bible for years and want to see new connections, my desire is to give you the tools you need to learn and teach God's Word.
Over my forty years as a Bible teacher,
I've seen children, youth, and adults grow in their understanding of God's Word when it is taught in a clear and straightforward way.
I've seen Bible teachers learn the steps to put their Bible knowledge into a concise and creative plan to teach others.
I've written and helped create Bible curriculum for VBS, Sunday School, and Bible classrooms.
My greatest desire is that as you understand God's Word, you would come into a loving and obedient relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Strong Hands Enterprises focuses on Biblical education to any age that can understand and use what is being taught.
Strong Hands believes that God, through His Word, transforms the mind and heart, and therefore focuses the majority of its resources on developing a clear understanding of Scripture from its historical, cultural, and geographical context.
Strong Hands seeks to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit in each teaching situation.
Strong Hands' purpose is to equip participants with the Word of God so that they can mature in the contexts of which they are already a part.
Strong Hands realizes that foundational Bible knowledge must be simple-to-understand, clearly-presented, and retain the integrity of conservative, biblical scholarship. Personal interaction and questions are encouraged.

Audience:
Strong Hands Enterprises, LLC has participated both in non-denominational workplace studies and denominational-sponsored church events in order to provide clear Bible teaching across racial and denominational lines.
Strong Hands Enterprises, LLC does not replace the local church, but encourages participation within one's church context. Attendees at events have included women, men and youth.
Our Statement of Faith
We hold that
The Bible alone is the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God for faith and practice. Salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone and is initiated by God's grace, not as a result of one's meritorious works, so that His purposes are accomplished and He alone receives all glory.

We confess and agree with the Apostles' Creed:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day He arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
from whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy church universal,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.

Financial Guidelines
Because Strong Hands Enterprises, LLC is not a 501c3 organization, the receipts given cannot be used for tax-deductible purposes. But because Strong Hands Enterprises, LLC is a ministry, gifts do go toward meeting ministry expenses, such as website costs, handouts, and resources.

What does Strong Hands mean?
Five times the term "strong hands" is referred to in the Bible, and it always conveys the idea of persevering during difficulty in order to obtain a long-range goal. Hebrews 11 states that "without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek him."
Then it gives a list of those who held fast to the Word of God through the difficulties of their time in order to receive the long-term reward that can only be realized in eternity. The author of Hebrews concludes by exhorting us to "run with perseverance the race marked out for us" by fixing our eyes on Jesus. ( Hebrews 12:1,2)
God's promises in His Word are for those who take hold of them and invest their very lives in what He has said. Regardless of the obstacles you have faced, may you be found to be a strong hands investor who knows the Lord Jesus Christ and always gives yourself fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (I Cor. 15:58)
